The fourth annual Carlsbad Library & Arts Foundation “Mini Golf FORE the Library” will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, September 30th at Carlsbad City Library, 1775 Dove Lane.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under; kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

“Parents with children and adults of all ages can putt their way through the stacks and down the stairs to help support this fundraiser for Carlsbad’s library and arts facilities and programs,” promised Jim Selover, president of the Foundation.  “It’s an exciting annual event for Carlsbad and a fun way for the family to get together and support our city libraries.”

Along with a custom designed nine-hole mini golf course, the fundraiser will feature an activity area for kids including face painting, balloons and clowns in the front courtyard.  There will be live music from “City Limits,” a silent auction and food and drinks available for purchase.  The event will benefit the Foundation’s mission to provide major financial support for Carlsbad’s library and arts facilities and programs.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Major sponsors can set up obstacles that showcase their business on or around the course.

Start practicing your putting now and join us September 30th.  For more information, call the Carlsbad Library and Arts Foundation at 760-602-2060 or visit
