Al Rex & Associates
Top-Producing Realtor in 92011
In terms of number of homes sold each year, Berkshire Hathaway California Properties (previously known as Prudential California Realty) is one of San Diego’s largest realtors. Not only is it one of the most well-known brands in the county, it is respected on an international level, as well. So it’s no surprise that a company of this size has a large number of the top producing realtors in San Diego; and Al Rex is proud to be one of them.
“We focus on helping individuals buy and sell homes. We will also assist investors in making purchases to become landlords,” said Al.
When selling a home, Al and his team use their “three-legged stool approach,” which includes making the home stand out from its competition, pricing it competitively, and utilizing a wide range of marketing techniques. “It’s this approach that has helped us achieve a top 2% ranking within the Berkshire Hathaway network,” he noted.
Al entered real estate in 2003 after a successful twenty-one years working as a CPA and Controller with a large international company. “The motivation to enter the real estate profession was directed at wanting to spend less time on the road with business travel,” he explained. “My financial background allows me to give my real estate clients the best edge during negotiations and the transaction.”
“My financial background allows me to give my clients the best edge during negotiations and throughout the transaction.”
Today, Al is a four-time winner of San Diego Magazine’s 5 Star Marketing Award, which is given to the top tier of realtors throughout the county. And with a philosophy of “being your real estate resource, long after the sale is made,” it’s no wonder Al has had such success. “I want to be there for my customers, for all their needs. Not only when they need something for the home, like a plumber or a handyman, but also if they need financial advice, an estate planner, or where to get their car repaired,” Al explained. “When you’re new to the area, you often do not know ‘who’ to use. That’s what being a full service realtor is all about.”
Al and his family have lived in Carlsbad since 2002 where his two children were raised. “Carlsbad is our home,” said Al. “We love the community and all that our city has to offer.” Al is also involved in the community, from hosting the Annual Camp Night at Pacific Rim Elementary to organizing the annual food drive for the Community Resource Center.
